Scottish Homes :: Design & Build
Thomas Mitchell Homes regularly work in conjunction with Scottish Homes, both in GRO Grant projects, and on a number of Housing Association initiatives. We also assist other builders and developers with less experience in GRO Grant Development, and bring our expertise to the fore in compiling Grant Applications etc. Select from the menu buttons on the left to explore this market place.
Thomas Mitchell Homes have been involved in a large number of GRO Grant developments, successfully bringing affordable housing to the first time buyer market place. Many of these developments have been carried out by our Building Division as developer, while on others, we have been timber frame kit supplier.
The regeneration of Jubilee Crescent, Fraserburgh in the Grampian region is a perfect example of partnership housing. The development comprised GRO grant housing for sale, housing for rent on behalf of the Fraserburgh Housing Co-operative, and sheltered accommodation on behalf of Grampian Care Housing Association. Thomas Mitchell Homes were lead developer, while construction works were carried out by Chap Construction Aberdeen. Architects on the project were Hurd Rolland Partnership from Aberdeen, while the Engineers were the Dinardo Partnership, Paisley.
Thomas Mitchell Homes have carried out a number of projects such as the Jubilee Crescent regeneration scheme and welcome similar opportunities to form partnership housing initiatives throughout the UK. Contact us for further details.
